If I told you that Kim Jong-il saved democracy in Guyana, you would think that I am crazy. If I said that Saddam Hussein saved democracy in Guyana, you would say that I lost all my marbles. Saddam is dead along with Hugo Chávez. Trump said that Chávez was part of the rigging against him. He also lost at least 60 court cases that he filed asking for the nullification of elections in many states. He won one minor decision reducing the days from 6 to 3 for mail-in votes in Pennsylvania but the court said that the case could be revisited later. There were about 1500 votes that were held and not counted. The case was not revisited because Biden won by over 80,000 votes.
Yesterday, Trump sent his racist cult members to attack the Capitol building in which the certification of the election was being tallied. They attacked and vandalized the building. Four lives were lost in the mayhem. I would be very happy if Sarah Lynch, the US ambassador could say if any leader of Guyana should behave that way.
Now, some PPP minions and their handlers have been saying that Trump was following Granger’s playbook. Did Granger send his supporters to attack any institution or anyone? The answer is no. If Trump had followed Granger’s playbook, he would have accepted the results and ask for peace. There was no violence in Guyana by Granger’s supporters related to the election. It was the PPP supporters who attacked school children and a nurse. They also invaded the counting center. Now, a certain racist writer who is given free rein in a Guyana tabloid said that violence was instigated by Granger during the election although the foreigners asked him not to do so. That person is as delusional as Trump who controls the PPP. The PPP is his handler. Now, there was some violence afterward. The violence came after two black youths were murdered. I am peace-loving but I understand the anger of those villagers. The PPP had murdered 200 plus youths using Roger Khan. The people were understandably angry because they thought that the murderous PPP was trying to repeat that past action. The PPP likes to kill black people and then they get their supporters all over the world saying “Black people are killing and raping us”. Ali also said that people were raping women at the demonstration which had some violence and vandalization. Priya Manickchand hollered “rape” when police went to the parliament to expel a PPP member.
These people are just like their benefactor Trump. They lie so much that they and their supporters believe such and find themselves out of touch with this reality we share. They live in the reality created by Trump for his cult followers. He is so much out of touch that he may be removed from office. Trump loves democracy so much that he is using violence and any illegal means to try to stay in power. He tried to get the judges he installed to rule in his favor but the judges chose integrity over illegality. I ask “is Trump a person who believes in the norms of democracy?” The answer is no. All media except the right-wing ones are saying that Trump has no respect for democracy. Yet, The PPP claims that Trump restored democracy in Guyana. I would be ashamed to say such. Then, again, you must have a conscience to feel ashamed.
I return to my introduction. If I say that Kim Jong-il saved democracy in Guyana, what would you say? You would say that I am crazy. Well, I am telling you this. It was Kim Jong-il who saved democracy in Guyana. Finally, what is the difference between Trump and Kim Jong-il? There is none politically. There is none temperamentally. Then what difference does it make if Kim Jong-il or Trump saved democracy in Guyana? None. The results are the same. The government installed is undemocratic. A dictator cannot install a democratic government. Only fools would believe such.
